This information can be about the setting, characters' backstories, prior plot events, historical context, etc. In literature, exposition appears in the form of expository writing embedded within the narrative II. Purpose  The purpose of narrative text is to entertain the reader with the story which can be fiction or non-fiction. III. The generic structure of Analytical Exposition text consists of : - Thesis - Argument - Reiteration  Funcitions of Analytical Exposition :  = Made to convey an idea or argument. Example Analytical Exposition about the Importance of Sport : Workout maintains good health. There are some reasons that make the exercises important to create healthier body. Firstly, workout makes you able to burn the calories and fat so you are able to avoid overweight issues that commonly lead to serious health problems, such as heart attack and diabetes. Moreover, regular workout makes your body able to maintain good metabolism. Toxins in the body can also be emitted through sweat.
