APPLICATION LETTER

Hi Hii.....
So this is the first material that will be studied in this semester, namely "Application Letter"
Part 1
Job Vacancy is a job which hasn't been filled.
From the job vacancies, it can be understood that the language used is detailed, simple, complete and uses short sentences, while the linguistic structure is:
- Title : The name of company or type of job vacancy.
- Purpose : The purpose of announcing a job vacancy.
- Qualification : The qualifications or requirements the company wants toward the job seekers
- Address/Contact : Address or contact number to find out more information or to send the job application.
What is Application Letter? is a document sent with your resume to provide employers with additional information about your skills and experience. The application letter is intended to provide detailed information about why you are a qualified candidate for the job.
What is purpose of application letter ?
A application letter should tell the employer what position you are applying for, what makes you a strong candidate, why they should choose you for an interview, and how you will follow up.
Generic Structure :
• Heading
• The address
• A greeting
• The introduction
• The body
• The close
• The signature

Part 2 :
In general what information is contained in the letter. Who wrote the letter, who was addressed and where was the address of the office located. Furthermore, if you want to know information related to how applicants get information about job vacancies, positions to be filled, and reasons for applying for jobs at the company.
Information in the job application letter:
• The heading, which includes your name and contact information.
• A greeting, addressed to a specific person, if possible.
• The introduction, which should include why the applicant is writing.
• The body, which discusses your relevant qualifications.
• The close, which thanks the reader and provides contact information and follow-up details.
How to write an application letter :
1. Review information about the company and position
2. Open the letter by describing your interest
3. Outline your experience and qualifications
4. Include aspects of your personality
5. Express appreciation
6. Close the letter

Part 3 :
In preparing a job application letter, it is necessary to pay attention to several main things, such as the example below:
Your name, Your address, Your e-mail address, Your phone number, Date, Name of hiring manager, Title of hiring manager, company name, Company address, Salutation [Dear Mr./Ms.].
Outline where you saw the job posting and express your interest in working in this role. Discuss some of your qualifications that would make you a good fit for the job. Describe your past experience in a way that emphasizes your personality and skills, while also showingcasing how you align with the goals of the company. Express your appreciation to the hiring manager for reviewing your letters. Include any follow-up information, if applicable. Closing [Sincerely, Best], Your signature, Your name (printed).

Part 4 : Conclusion
The conclusion of this chapter is that a Application Letter is a letter from someone who wants to find a job. They can write a letter because they see a company that is offering a job from an advertisement or the web. The application letter is made formally and neatly using good language and structure.
